Certainly a good toe dipping kind of game. The mechanics are quite straight forward, but definitely fun if you have people to play with. Was hoping there would be a few more plastic models but this game certainly inspires me to get the full version (and the clan expansion!)
This package contains two high quality plastic minis that are lightyears ahead in terms of quality from the old 90's Plastech or some metal ones. Nice and crisp details, fun to paint. The game itself is well fun, quick with well explained rules and has nice dry-erase character mats. The paper battlemat included is of a good quality print, even if the paper is a bit thin to my taste, though. I think that this starter pack is a good buy.
